About the role
As our Head of Product, you will lead the vision of our platform, evangelising in the market with our customers and partners to drive growth. You will also be responsible for the day-to-day management of the product team, and will lead the execution of our strategy, working closely with the engineering teams to plan projects, create schedules, and ensure that the team and product release schedules run smoothly.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management within the software industry and a proven track record working across different teams and departments. You’ll report to the Chief Executive Officer, as well as working with the wider Go To Market team and Engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the company's product vision and strategy in alignment with overall business objectives, to include developing long-term product roadmaps that balance innovation with market demands.
- Establish and improve product management best practices across the organisation, and embed a culture of customer-centricity and data-driven decision making throughout product and engineering teams.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, prioritising product investments based on strategic value and ROI – this will include maintaining frameworks for evaluating product performance and making portfolio decisions that maximize business impact.
- Collaborate in close partnership with executive leadership including the CEO, CTO, CCO, and Head of Engineering to ensure the product strategy supports company growth targets, navigates market dynamics and the competitive landscape, and balances technical feasibility with customer needs.
- Drive the data and analytics partner strategy, including identifying, and managing and partners that will enhance the platform, and create competitive differentiation that aligns with the company AI strategy.
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing product management team, with a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning and a focus towards developing the next generation of product leaders.
- Develop and demonstrate strong knowledge of Videris’ architecture, cloud and SaaS technology, AI and analytics, and the wider investigation domain (preferably around OSINT).
- Be an evangelist for Videris with an ability to inspire others through excellent communication skills and with an ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrate strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution, with a proven track record of successfully launching, scaling and maintaining products that drive revenue growth.
About you
You will be passionate about what you do, and keen to experience new ideas and to develop further, with a drive for innovation and performance. This position is one of our leadership roles and has a strong management component requiring:
- You are likely to have a Bachelor’s degree. You may also have postgraduate technical qualifications or industry specific experience.
- A minimum 7 years’ experience in a product or business-related role.
- Broad experience of modern software delivery including cloud/SaaS (e.g. AWS) and a strong understanding of prominent technologies including AI.
- B2B software company experience.
- Experience working with or in the investigation or compliance domains.
