Our Story
Blackdot started life as a risk agency. Powered by our early technology and development work, we created Videris: the best-in-class platform that helps government agencies, large corporates and the financial community in their investigations, from tracking down terrorists to identifying money launderers. Our clients rely on our tech every day, and our software means they can collect, analyse and visualise open source intelligence (OSINT) and get instant results.
Sure, it’s serious stuff, but we believe in the power of technology to do great things. Videris doesn't collect data indiscriminately and we won't sell our software to just anyone; we’re here to protect the public, use information responsibly and make sure we can all sleep at night.

If you’re a self-starting, roll-up-your-sleeves type, Blackdot is the place for you. You’ll get to own projects that really matter, but in a collaborative environment with the spirit of a startup. No two days are the same. Monday — tackling terrorism. Tuesday — tackling table tennis. Whilst some of our work is confidential we frequently work with many household names that you will have heard of. We are a team of techies, intelligence professionals and OSINT lovers, but we don't take ourselves too seriously and we always have a laugh.
