Blackdot Solutions, the UK-based creator of leading investigations platform Videris, today announced the appointment of Stuart Clarke as its new Chief Executive Officer. Stuart’s appointment is effective immediately.

Having spent the last two years as Head of Product at Blackdot, Stuart is uniquely positioned to lead the company through a new phase of innovation and growth.  Before joining Blackdot, Stuart was a Regional Director at Nuix, with global responsibility for Nuix’s Security & Intelligence division, where he was instrumental in driving record growth for the company.

“Blackdot is a leader in the Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) investigation space and it’s a real honour to be asked to be the company’s CEO at an important and exciting time,” said Stuart. “Over the past two years I have been inspired by the talented individuals at Blackdot and their shared vision of transforming our customers’ ability to solve complex problems with our innovative investigations platform, Videris. Going forward, we plan to build on our strong foundations, accelerating our trajectory of product innovation and providing a customer experience others can only aspire to.”

Other new appointments at Blackdot Solutions include Antonia Edmunds as Chief Commercial Officer and James Randall as Chief Technology Officer. The newly selected and experienced Executive team will work closely with Stuart to grow both the technical and commercial branches of the company.

Adam de Courcy Ling, Chairman at Blackdot Solutions, said “I am delighted that Stuart, after two highly successful years running our Product team, is taking on the role of CEO at Blackdot. I am also very pleased that Antonia and James, who also joined in the last two years, are stepping up to larger roles. The strength of our team is an outstanding feature of our company. These key appointments will sharpen still further our dedication to executing our mission and are a key milestone in Blackdot’s evolution. The board very much looks forward to working with Stuart and the rest of the team to realise Blackdot’s full potential as an innovative and world-leading provider of OSINT technology.”
