Cambridge, UK — Blackdot Solutions, the UK-based creator of leading investigations platform Videris, today announced it had received the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification, a globally recognised standard for information security management. Building on existing Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation, the ISO certification recognises Blackdot’s ongoing commitment to establishing robust security controls and processes across the organisation.

ISO 27001 is an international compliance standard designed by the International Standards Organization (ISO) for organisations that collect and process data, setting out best practices for information management and security. By achieving this certification, Blackdot has strengthened its position in the investigations solutions market, underlining their ability to provide large enterprises and law enforcement with highly secure, transformative software to improve investigations outcomes.

Bal Heire, Head of Cyber Security at Blackdot Solutions, said “We are delighted that Blackdot has obtained the ISO 27001:2013 certification, a significant milestone for our organisation. This achievement reflects our unwavering dedication to upholding the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information entrusted to us. We take pride in this accomplishment and will continue to prioritise and enhance our data security measures for the benefit of our valued customers and partners.”
