Our principles

Ethics and integrity are central to our culture and that of our customers. To support them in tackling societal challenges and meeting high ethical and legal standards, we apply several key principles to the design of Videris. These inform how we build and deploy our software, the services we offer and our contractual relationships with our customers.

Public information only

Videris can only be used to research publicly available and licensable information. It doesn’t gather non-public information, nor does it interact or engage with a third party, including investigative subjects.

Focused data collection

Videris helps investigators maximise the accuracy and relevance of the data they collect. It supports proportionate investigations and does not collect bulk or non-targeted data.

Human judgment

Videris enhances the skills of human investigators and doesn’t make decisions on their behalf. It collects data on the instruction of an analyst, not an algorithm.

Accountability

Videris enables legal and policy compliance to support consistency, auditability and accountability.

Our Customers

Our customers include major international banks, governments and global corporates, who use Videris to stop crime and make the world a safer place. They all have legitimate use-cases, often required by law or by a regulator.
